OUR OFFICE
At Carey Chiropractic “Life” Center it is our goal to help patients and their
families achieve better health. It is our mission to equip our community with
better health strategies. Chiropractic is a drug-free, physiologically compatible
healthcare that allows the body to heal itself by allowing the nervous system
to function better. When nerve interference is removed with gentle chiropractic
adjustments, healthy cell metabolism, organ function, mental and physical
well-being are restored. According to the research, that means more energy,
better movement, and a stronger immune system! More and more families are
choosing chiropractic because no one is ever too young or too old to obtain a
healthy nervous system for life. Healing takes place from the “inside- out,” and
that begins with a healthy nervous system!
Carey Chiropractic “Life” Center provides very specific care and attention
through state-of-the-art technology and premier office amenities. Dr. Carey
and the staff at Carey Chiropractic “Life” Center truly have a heart to serve
others by helping you get back to the things you enjoy most in life! Whether
participating in sports, playing with your children, or getting back to your
golf game, our mission is to provide chiropractic care that is affordable for the
whole family.
WHAT TO
EXPECT
1. All new practice members will be required to fill out the necessary new
patient paperwork in full. We will provide a complimentary check of
insurance benefits: we will need your driver’s license and insurance
card to do so.
2. Meet with our team for a one on one consultation to determine if you’re a good candidate for chiropractic care.
3. Dr. Carey may request specific chiropractic postural X-rays in our on-site X-ray suite.
4. During your new practice member orientation appointment, we will review your health findings from our assessment and present you a specific care plan with our chiropractic recommendations.
5. Begin care and your journey towards optimal health for you and your family!

What Is A
Subluxation?
A subluxation is when the spine or vertebrae has shifted out of proper alignment affecting the nervous system and communication between the brain and the body. The nervous system controls and coordinates everything in the body. When the bones in the spine misalign, they reduce the effectiveness and efficiency of the nerves they control. Chiropractors help restore normal function to the nervous system by restoring normal spinal function.
Our Technique
At Carey Chiropractic “Life” Center we utilize the most up to date technique in Chiropractic history, The Torque Release Technique (TRT), a perfect mixture of top techniques in Chiropractic. A Torque Release Technique (TRT) adjustment can be delivered with the spine in a perfectly relaxed neutral position with the perfect amount of force, whereas a traditional adjustment requires the spine to be stretched to a position of tension followed by the manual thrust by hand to sufficiently open the spinal joints to activate a cavitation response. Practice members enjoy the specific adjustment without the force, cracking, and popping sound of manual adjustments.

Meet
Dr. Carey
At 13 Dr. Carey injured his back while playing in a basketball tournament that prevented him from playing the next baseball season. When nothing seemed to help someone referred him to a chiropractor and his life changed. He became intrigued in how the body works and how healing comes from inside out. After graduating from the University of Michigan-Dearborn he moved to Altanta, Ga to attend Life University where he received his Doctorate in Chiropractic. After being an Associate in Columbus, Ga it was time to come back to Michigan and help the communities of Ypsilanti, Ann Arbor and Saline become the healthiest they can.
